This hotel in Gion historic area was the perfect choice for our stay in Kyoto. The location is amazing, right next to the subway station and close to amazing restaurants. We loved the attention to detail and the basic amenities provided. Our room on the top floor had a marvelous view of the river, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious and gave us a great start to our day.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a lovely view over the river. The location couldn't have been better, right next to the subway station and close to amazing restaurants. The breakfast provided was delicious and offered a choice of Western or Japanese options.

The only thing that could be improved is the variety for the included breakfast. It's very good but it is mostly the same food every day.

They gave us great recommendations about nearby restaurants and even provided us with umbrellas. the hotel's location couldn't be better located! It was located just minutes away from one of the prettiest streets in the area. we had an excellent stay here.

I had a severe allergy once I entered the room. The staff at Sakura Suite tried their best to solve the issue, but unfortunately I had to leave one day earlier than planned.
